'The Source' by Louter-Hoos

“De Stijl”, a world famous Dutch art movement, got founded a 100 years ago. This was the reason to organize an exposition with “De Stijl” as the centre of attention for the “Haagse Kunstkring”. Just for this exposition they created the work “The Source”. The inspiration of this project were the light blue Hortensia’s in the studio of Jacqueline.

She combined these flowers with one of the first abstract projects of Mondriaan in which she saw a flower shape. Jacqueline loves to work with prints on textile. She loves fabric. By choosing a very transparent fabric her concept came out beautifully.
