Canvas is a coarse, tightly woven fabric that can be made from a variety of materials. The most common materials are cotton and polyester.
Canvas has a number of fine characteristics that make it a perfect fabric for printing. For example, canvas is not only very strong and durable, it is also breathable, water-repellent and colorfast. With canvas you can be sure that your design will last a lifetime.
Applications of canvas
Due to its strong properties, canvas is ideal for making outdoor products such as jackets, (back) bags, hats and pillowcases for outside cushions. Canvas is particularly suitable for applications where a thick, sturdy fabric is required.

Washing instructions of canvas
Despite its sturdiness, canvas fabric must be washed with care. Cotton canvas can be washed at 40 degrees, but canvas made of polyester is best kept with a gentle washing program, at a maximum of 30 degrees.
After washing, it is best to dry the fabric in the open air. Ironing is allowed, but keep in mind that polyester canvas only tolerates a low temperature.
