MAÉST

With the MAÉST first collection, Marketa Schroll explores the feeling of home and origin. The designs are a modern interpretation of traditional folklore from the Czech Republic, with influences from Czech fairy tales, whose fantasy worlds fascinated her as a child. Voluminous dresses and blouses are made of silk, cotton and Tencel expressive colors and playful details like flounces and puffed sleeves stand for the fashionable extravagance of a nostalgic era. The key piece of the collection is an elaborately crafted Kaftan with a flower print designed by Marketa Schroll and inspired by the paintings of the artist Alfons Mucha. Accessories that complete the first collection are carried by their femininity. Among them is a hairband embroidered with glass beads from the Czech Republic.
