MLY is a Dutch fashion label which stands out. Emily Hermans (1978), who after graduating the Amsterdam Fashion Institute immediately started her own label, is known for her proprietary fabrics (knits MLY). She also designs woven and printed clothing under the names MLY Woven and MLY Prints. In particular, the rhythmic, repetitive patterns and graphic designs give the brand its own signature.

The special feature of this line MLY Knits it is domestically produced. Instead of buying ready-made materials, Herman's designs her own material. The production is not outsourced to the other side of the world, but operated by a production company of which Emily is a founder and owner together with others.
