'Shifting Beauty' bij Lucas van der Velde

Inspiratie
In Lucas’s prints he tried to combine two aspects. The prints have very different interpretation. On one hand they look like a military print, but on the other hand they look like moss growing on concrete or a satellite landscape picture.

Design
The prints that he made are done by hand and modified in the computer. The handmade prints are made from pancake batter, which gave it this organic and craftsmanship like feeling to it. In the computer Lucas played with colour to give it more depth and to make it cohesive with the rest of his collection.
