Inspiration

The inspiration for the prints is American photographer Henry Holmes Smith whose work consists of abstract and colorful forms. The designers wanted the prints to remind camouflage prints without being too obvious.

Design

The designers began the process of designing the prints by painting, sketching and mixing photographs with hand painted designs. They wanted the prints to feel hand painted rather than feeling industrially made. The idea was to make one large scale pattern for a long jacket and a placement type of print  that would shift to another print on an anorak.
