‘Label 4’ by Tessa van de Meerendonk

Inspiration
​Tessa gets the inspiration of the Label4 prints always from nature. She looks to patterns on flowers, plants and birds. Tessa thinks that the shape – and colour combinations which occur are fascinating and often uses them to create her own colourful prints.

Design
Tessa trusts her intuition with the colour and tries a print in many different colour combinations before she makes a final decision which combination is the best for her design. When Tessa has come to a decision which 4 prints are going to form a new series, she test-prints them on paper.  This way she can test it in true size and alter a few things before she orders a test-print at House of U.
