'American Malaise' by Brandon Wen

Inspiration

The inspiration for the prints was "Space Cowboy". Brandon blended Classic American themes like cowboys and the wild west with his indulgent love for Japanese outer space anime and childish colors. 

Design

The designs came from iconic images and themes that represented the topic for Brandon, for example, cows, spacemen and even the virgin Mary. In the future, he plans to make more graphic and animated prints that continue to be fun, loud and outrageous.
