Five years ago, we started House of U with a fantastic team. With our core values of sustainable beauty, quality over quantity and endless creativity, we embarked on this beautiful journey together.

With digital prints and sustainable fabrics, we want to offer you the opportunity to express your creativity and build a successful sustainable business in small runs and with fast delivery. All this without you having to invest in stock yourself. With Print on Demand, we can make this possible and it is also one of our main motives. 

In order to help you as an entrepreneur even better in this respect, we have looked at how we can make our offer even more complete and beautiful for you.

  • New printing technology for natural fibres: a new improved and more sustainable production process in which we no longer use water is going to enable us to produce faster and more efficiently, with a still strong focus on innovation and sustainability.

So what does this mean for you?

In the coming months, we will be expanding our fabric range considerably, giving you even more options for your customers. We are also working hard on optimising our website to make it even easier for you to design and order. Our collaboration opens doors to new opportunities and innovations that will take our production and services to the next level.

At the same time, the introduction of this sustainable printing technology also brings challenges such as colours and details that may differ when reprinted. This applies to all natural fabrics such as (organic) cotton, linen, Tencel and EcoVero. However, we mainly look at the benefits such as increased colour fastness, improved durability, better colour range and consistent quality.

For all U-Circular products made from recycled polyester and the regular polyester fabrics, our technology remains unchanged.

We understand that these changes sometimes present challenges and may affect you as a customer, but we will try to help you as best we can. The Cotton Light Jersey Eco is a medium weight jersey fabric made of 100% organic cotton. This knitted fabric is breathable and is very comfortable for the skin because of the slight stretch. That is why this fabric is perfect for T-shirts, dresses and underwear.

Cotton French Terry Eco


This heavy weight Cotton French Terry Eco fabric has some stretch making it comfortable to wear. The front of the fabric is tightly knit while the back has small loops, which also makes it feel soft and warm on the skin. The Cotton French Terry Eco is often used for comfortable loungewear, sweaters and hoodies.

The Cotton Waffle is a medium-weight fabric, woven entirely from 100% cotton. Characterized by its loose weave and waffle texture, this fabric is highly absorbent, making it perfect for tablecloths. This fabric is also often used for fashion items such as dresses, bags, and kids clothing due to its easy-care properties.

    The new printing technology is especially for natural fibres. It is a newly improved and more sustainable production process in which we no longer use water. This is going to enable us to produce faster and more efficiently, with still a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.
